Dan Tosh founded Tosh & Associates in 1985.  Dr. Tosh is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser with the State of California.

Tosh & Associates has several appraisers of various levels in our office in the Northern California City of Brentwood.  We are state of the art with all the most current and modern tools. We are also a course provider with the State of California and provide continuing education as well as basic education for real estate appraisers.

As of June of 2003, recertifications are no longer permitted by USPAP and an updated appraisal must be ordered. We can re-visit the appraisal for a different client, if we have the underwriting guidelines and establish an "appraiser/client" relationship. 

Invoicing is allowed only for those clients that have been preapproved by management.  To qualify for billing, your company must order a minimum of 50 reports per month and pay within 30 days.  We do accept major credit cards. 

All appraisals are personally reviewed and analyzed by the chief appraiser prior to completion and delivery.  Our turn around time has been 3 to 5 days after the inspection, provided there are no special circumstances.

Ed DeLaCruz is the Senior Reviewer with a background in security and investments trading along with real estate portfolio sales and management development. He is a Certified Residential Appraiser, team leader, troubleshooter and provides additional support for the chief appraiser.

Shelley Tosh is the managing partner and handles accounts receivable as well as the office staff. She is a former certified residential appraiser with the State of California and holds a masters degree in business management. Shelley has been in the appraisal business for more than 18 years.

Laura is the operations manager and provides essential support for all aspects of the appraisal function from inception to completion. Laura oversees the support staff and is involved in status and scheduling to provide a smooth operation throughout the process.  Laura also handles most billing inquiries.

Sarah is an appraisal coordinator and provides additional support with scheduling and customer service.
